Results for 2nd A*STAR-NHG-NTU Skin Research Grant (SRG)

In September 2015, the 2nd A*STAR-NHG-NTU Skin Research Grant (SRG) was jointly launched by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), National Healthcare Group (NHG) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

The main objectives of the grant were as follows:
 

  • To promote collaborative research in order to tackle increasingly challenging issues in skin health
  • To explore the impact and burden of skin diseases affecting the local and/or Asian population
  • To generate new knowledge and outcomes which could lead to improved diagnosis and management of skin diseases in the local and/or Asian population


A total of 36 applications were received. After a rigorous selection by the Skin Selection Panel, 9 applications were selected for funding.
