DSRB Update: Enhancements to Studies at Data Analysis Stage

From 15 August 2018, DSRB had exempted continuing review for Expedited and Full Board studies where the study status was “Ongoing, Last Participant, Last Visit Over, Only Data Analysis Ongoing”. 

Enhancements had been made on ROAM to auto-renew these studies, with effect from 02 September 2022. A reminder email will be sent every 2 years to remind the study team to submit the Study Status Report Form to close the study if it is completed.

If there are changes to the study status such that it no longer involves data analysis only, a continuing review will be required. The new study status must be reported using the NHG DSRB Study Status Report Form immediately.
