National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Awardees 2015

 

Congratulations to our 2015 National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Awardees

 

 

 

NMRC Clinician Scientist Award (CSA)

 

The NMRC Clinician Scientist Award (CSA) is awarded to outstanding clinician-scientists with an established research track record and the potential to become research leaders in their area of interest. The award provides salary support and protected time funding, and is aimed to develop clinicians in translational and clinical research.

NMRC Transition Award (TA)

 

 

 

 

 

The NMRC Transition Award (TA) is awarded to outstanding budding, young clinicians to assist them in building up their capability in research and aims to help these clinicians in transitioning to a stable independent research position or other independent research funding, with an enhanced probability of success in obtaining independent research support.

NMRC Research Training Fellowship

 

This Fellowship is awarded to outstanding and talented clinicians, health science professionals (e.g., nurses, pharmacists) and biostatisticians for overseas research training or to pursue a graduate degree in research in local institutions.

MOH Healthcare Research Scholarship – Master of Clinical Investigation (MCI) Program

 

 

 

 

 

This scholarship is provided to outstanding clinicians who are interested in enrolling in the National University of Singapore - Master of Clinical Investigation (NUS MCI) Program, designed to meet the needs of clinicians in healthcare institutions who desire to incorporate scientifically sound research into their clinical practice.


 

 

 

Clinician Scientist/ Clinician Investigator Salary Support Programme (CS/CISSP)

 

The CS/CISSP provides salary support for research time to encourage clinicians to participate in healthcare research. The salary support funding is channelled to the respective clinical departments to recognise their support for the clinician’s participation in research, with the flexibility for the department in using the funds for research-related activities in the department.
