About the NHG Research Online Administration & Management portal (NHG ROAM)
Launched in June 2011 to replace the initial online submission portal known as the B2BResearch Online, the ROAM portal currently comprises of 3 main modules – the Ethics Application, Review & Approval Module, the Research Quality Assurance Module and the Training & Events Module.
To date, the ROAM portal has over 6000 registered users from NHG Institutions and various partner Institutions while processing over 400 ethics applications annually to the DSRB. In addition, since the RQA module’s launch in January 2012, there have been 30 research audits conducted within the first 3 months.
The ROAM portal will see more functions being added on to expand its current capabilities to ensure its continued relevance to the research community.

ROAM Guidebooks
The ROAM System has a relatively steep learning curve. For new users, we strongly recommend that they read the following guides to gain a understanding of the system before attempting any new applications/submissions in the ROAM system.
