Translating Research into Highest Quality Patient Care

CITI Training

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training is a leading provider of research education content that is web-based to facilitate the training of investigators and staff who are conducting research.

Who Should Complete the CITI Program?

All Principal Investigators (PI), Site Principal Investigators (Site PI) and Co-Investigators (Co-I) of research conducted within NHG and partner institutions are required to complete the CITI Program “Biomedical Research Investigators and Key Personnel” course so as to be able to appreciate and apply the ethical principles underlying research to their day-to-day practice of research.

CITI Training registration is via the  Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) website. (www.citiprogram.org)

CITI Modules on Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) - Optional

CITI modules on RCR seek to educate researchers and research staff on the responsible conduct of research in fields such as Biomedical Sciences, Research Administration and Social, Behavioural & Education Sciences through thinking questions. Our researchers will be equipped with the knowledge of research best practices to guide them in making the right decisions for the integrity of their research, especially in instances that challenge individual values and integrity.

We encourage institutions to urge research staff to participate and learn about Responsible Conduct of Research through these online elective modules.

CITI Training registration is via the  Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) website. (www.citiprogram.org) See here for more information regarding the CITI Training Programme.
