Good Clinical Practice (GCP)


 

Based on the ICH GCP E6(R2) guidelines and incorporating local regulatory requirements, the GCP course seeks to equip participants with basic knowledge and understanding of how GCP principles may be applied to the conduct of clinical trials. Experienced speakers from various clinical research-related sectors will deliver a series of lectures covering the following broad elements:

  • Core principles of Good Clinical Practice and ethical research;
     
  • Local regulatory requirements and legal framework for clinical trials;
     
  • Responsibilities of the sponsor and investigator;
     
  • Procedures related to the operationalisation and conduct of clinical trials.

GCP Course (Online)
The online course will comprise the following components:

a) Online Lectures
The 15 online lectures cover the fundamental topics in Good Clinical Practice and are narrated by subject matter experts.

b) Assessment
Participants are required to complete an online quiz comprising 53 questions after completing the online and supplementary lectures. The online quiz will incorporate information from both the online and supplementary lectures. A e-Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to participants who achieve a minimum passing score of 75%.

Participants will be given 1 month access to complete the lectures and assessment.
