Launched in 2012, the Clinician Scientist Career Scheme (CSCS) Junior and Mid categories aim to develop research capabilities of our clinicians to enable them to compete successfully for NMRC’s Transition Award (TA) or Clinician Scientist Award (CSA) in the next 2 to 3 years.  In 2014, the CSCS Senior category was launched. The CSCS Senior is a bridging scheme which complements the CSCS Junior and CSCS Mid-Level. 

 

The long term aim of CSCS is to develop clinician scientists to be Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in NHG who will contribute to excellence in research innovation and improvement in patient care, delivery and outcomes.
